Volunteering at HES
There is a constant need at HES for a wide variety of volunteers. Whether you serve as a room parent, chair a PTA committee, tutor kids in the classroom, or spend an hour or more working at a PTA sponsored event no amount of time is too small or unappreciated. You do not need to be an active member of the PTA to participate. You do, however, need to be registered in the CMS Volunteer system.
If you’ve never registered, log on to https://www.cmsvolunteers.com/ and submit the required form. Once you are in the system you will not need to register again. Any amount of time that you can spend at the school is considered “ volunteer time” – even when you have lunch with your child- so don’t forget to log your volunteer hours using the above website so that HES’s volunteerism is represented accurately within CMS.
The link below is to the 2018-19 HES PTA Volunteer Form. You can print out and fill in as desired and then return to your child’s teacher.
